Are you looking for a relaxed, culinary and exciting team event in Bern? Then we have just the thing for you.
Brew your own beer together with your team. In addition to the interesting insight into the brewing process, there is an authentic three-course meal from our kitchen – and of course beer.
Programme of the brewing seminar
The evening will be hosted by Matthias Koschahre, head brewer of the Old Tram Depot, and Dominic Hauser, owner of the Ernst brewery. A concentrated load of beer knowledge for your team.

Welcome aperitif

The best way to work is strengthened. That's why the first thing you'll be served on arrival is a small welcome aperitif to start the evening.

Introduction to brewing

During the theoretical part, you will gain basic insights into the history of beer, the different types of beer and the chemistry of brewing.

The ingredients of the beer

Learn more about the components malt, hops, yeast and water and what role the individual ingredients play in the entire brewing process.

Brewing

From preparing the ingredients to mashing, lautering, boiling and fermenting, the brewers guide your team step by step through the beer production process.

Food

Brewing makes you hungry. The entire brewing process is accompanied by an authentic three-course menu from our kitchen. The food is served between the various brewing steps.
Duration, group size and beer delivery
The entire event lasts around five hours from 5.00 pm to 10.00 pm. The brewing seminar is suitable for groups from 12 to 30 persons. Six to eight weeks after the brewing seminar, your home-brewed beer will be delivered to the address of your choice (in Switzerland).
