Nun's Whisky Series Produced and distilled in December 2018, this whisky matured in the cellars of Klösterlistutz. It owes its straw-yellow color to the Petite Arvine and Chardonnay Barrique.
The nose is already impressive with fruity aromas of peach, apricot and pear. Woody notes such as vanilla and honey unfold on the palate. The finish is smooth and long-lasting.

Manufactured by hand
Our Nun's Whisky is produced in the heart of Bern in our Altes Tramdepot brewery. As soon as the mash is ready, we take it to the Schwab distillery, which distils the whisky for us.
The whisky is then stored for five years in the Klösterlistutz cellar. The finishing and bottling was carried out by the brewers at the Tramdepot.
Each of our whiskies is numbered by hand. There are only 451 bottles of Nun's Whisky Sister Rosie. 40 bottles were also
bottled at cask strength.

Stored where the nuns once changed for the Aare baths
The whisky got its name because it is stored in the cellar of the Klösterlistutz. The barrels in which the whisky matures are located in vaulted cellars where the nuns of the Klösterlis once changed for the Aare bath.
Each whisky in the Nun's Whisky Series bears the name of a fictitious nun who lived in the Klösterli long ago.
So perhaps it is not only the optimal humidity that makes our whiskies so unique, but also the spirits of the namesakes who lived in the Klösterli hundreds of years ago.
